Ok, im starting a pool....

But the Microsoft support guys assured ccp they didnt need any backups or redundancy. After all, "MYSQL running on win98 is foolproof", they said.

FIX SERVER (REMOVE MsSQL, implement any other DB server solution!!!)

Chaning DB isnt that hard either.... stackless python uses funsctions and procedures, just like every other major high level language. You just change those to use the new DB type.
As for chaning the DB server backend.... well most have an import from your old ****ty server (MsSQL) function built it.
/me works on DB everyday.
